Our website solarenergiafotovoltaica.com (hereinafter "Website") sets out how and when we collect, use and share your personal information in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, (hereinafter "GDPR") and the Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (hereinafter "LOPDGDD"). This data protection policy has been updated on 25 March 2022.

2. What we collect and use your data for
We only collect and process your personal data when we have a reason to do so and only when that reason is permitted by data protection law. This section sets out how we collect and use your data.
When you purchase products or services on our website
When you sign up for our products or services, we will use your personal information to complete your contract. The data we collect from you may include your name, address, date of birth, email address, telephone number, energy meter details and payment details, such as credit card information or direct debit details.
It is important that you keep your personal data up to date, so please inform us of any changes. To complete your contract, we may share your personal information with third parties involved in the contracting process, such as payment providers and credit reference agencies that we use to assess fraud, credit and/or security risks.
We need to process your personal information in this way to perform the contract for the product or service you have asked us to supply. This may include sending you information about your account, such as statements, payment and meter reading reminders and occasional updates about important changes, such as updates to your tariff. Solar Energia processes personal data relating to postcode, CUPS number and consumption level (KwH) from your last bill in order to calculate and provide you with a supply offer.
In addition, SOLAR ENERGIA accesses the information in the SIPS database in order to make an estimate and offer you the tariff that best suits your needs. The information in the SIPS database (Supply Point Information System) does not include information that allows the identification of the user) and its access is regulated in art. 7 of Royal Decree 1435/2002, of 27 December, which regulates the basic conditions of contracts for the acquisition of energy and access to low voltage networks. Likewise, if you wish to receive the offer by e-mail, this data is used to manage the sending of the offer.
When you call us on the phone, send us an email or contact us via social media, we will be happy to hear from you.
When you telephone or email us with general enquiries, we may process your personal information (your name, address, contact details and other personal information you have provided to us) to provide the customer services you have requested, for example, to provide you with more information about our prices.
We rely on your consent to process your personal information in this way. If you do not provide us with the data we request for customer service purposes, we may not be able to respond fully to your enquiries.
We record the interactions you have with us, such as phone calls, email opens and clicks to help us better serve your requests.
3. Management of the recruitment process

We will use your personal information to provide you with a more effective user experience, for example, by showing you the services and offers we think you will find interesting. Your bank details will be processed through GoCardless, Ltd., the entity through which the direct debit process will be carried out and SOLAR ENERGIA will not process the bank details of customers, except when there is a change to the account which will be managed directly with GoCardless.
You can prevent us from using your personal information in this way by using the private browsing function of your Internet browser. If you activate the private browsing function, our website may be less tailored to your needs and preferences.
Technical information and analysis
When you visit our website, we automatically collect the following technical information, including the IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login details, browser type and version, time zone settings, browser plug-in types and versions, screen resolution, operating system and platform; and information about your visit, including uniform full resource locators, clickstream to, through and from our website (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs) and methods used to leave the page.
We also work closely with a number of third parties, such as advertising networks, analytics providers, hosting providers and search information providers, from whom we may also receive general anonymous information about you.
Third-party platforms
Occasionally we may deliver targeted advertising through third party platforms. For example, we will hash your data (so that no one can see it) and match it to the Facebook platform. If you have a Facebook profile, we will ask them to exclude you from irrelevant ads, such as those for join SOLAR ENERGIA, and send you more relevant ads instead. All of this is done without Facebook disclosing your identity to us and vice versa. We do this on the basis of legitimate interest to ensure that you receive more personalised and relevant information about our products and services.
Information we receive from third parties
In addition to the information you provide directly to us, we also receive information from third parties.
We work with a number of affiliates and partners, such as price comparison websites, telesales agencies and door-to-door sales agencies, and if you subscribe to our services through one of our affiliates or partners, they may submit your personal information to us. We also have access to national energy databases, and may receive information about your ownership, meter details and previous suppliers from these databases.
We may receive a notice from your landlord or letting agent to inform us that you have moved into a property we supply. They may provide us with your name and email address, as well as the date you occupied the property and the meter opening readings that were taken.
If you come to us through our friends and family referral programme, we will receive your initial details through this link, and we will also tell the person whose link you have used that you have done so. We may also receive personal information from your former provider when you switch to us, if they have information that we need to provide our services to you.
If you use our electric vehicle charging point services, we may receive your location data according to your phone's location settings when you use our mobile application. This can be deactivated or modified via the relevant iOS/Android platforms.
Charging point operators will share with us the hexadecimal code of the RFID card or digital token of customers using our electric vehicle charging point services. We will use this information to locate your account and process your invoices.
Maintenance and management of essential supply.
In accordance with the provisions of art. 52 of Law 24/2013 of 26 December on the Electricity Sector, under no circumstances may the supply of electricity be suspended to those facilities whose services have been declared as essential in accordance with the aforementioned law. For example, in the case of domestic supplies in which the electricity supply is essential for the power supply of medical equipment that is essential to keep a person alive. In these cases, SOLAR ENERGIA will request and process the personal data included in the relevant medical certificate proving that the supply point is essential to keep a person alive.
Such personal data shall be processed on the basis of the protection of the vital interests of the data subject.
4. How long my data is stored
- SOLAR ENERGIA informs that the personal data and documentation relating to the contracting of the electricity and/or gas supply service with the user will be kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, and once it ends, the data will be kept blocked for a period of five years, as established by Law 24/2013, of 26 December, on the Electricity Sector.
- The personal data required to issue an electricity supply offer will not be retained by SOLAR ENERGIA once the information has been sent to the interested party, as they will be automatically deleted.
- The personal data necessary for sending commercial communications by electronic means will be retained until the client user requests the cancellation of the sending of such electronic commercial communications or requests the deletion of the personal data.
- In the case of enquiries, requests for information and the submission of complaints, the personal data provided will be kept for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected. Once satisfied, the personal data will be deleted.
- Personal data provided for the submission of complaints will be retained for a period of three years in order to address possible legal liabilities. Once this period has expired, the data will be blocked for a period of three years in order to attend to possible legal responsibilities.
- The personal data of candidates who provide their CVs will be kept for a period of one year.
- You always have the right to access, rectify, oppose, delete, restrict the processing of, and submit your data, by contacting us at info@solarenergiafotovoltaica.com in accordance with the rights provided for in the GDPR.

5. Our security with your data
Solar Energia adopts technical and organisational measures to reinforce the security of personal data processed through this Website, protecting connections by means of HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure, secure hypertext transfer protocol) and SSL (Secure Socket Layer, secure port layer) protocols aimed at protecting the integrity and confidentiality of users' data between their devices and this Website, as well as preventing information transmitted over this network from being intercepted or modified by unauthorised elements. The information provided to us by users is stored on secure servers.
We also ensure that our service providers also have appropriate security standards for the protection of personal data to which they have or may have access, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
